Rilhana's skin is a deep golden tan, littered with freckles all around her body. Her hair is a very dark shade of brown, often times appearing black in certain lighting. The way she styles it fluctuates depending on climate, but her average appearance has her wearing it down long. Eyes are a vibrant hazel; primarily green with golden flecks scattering around her cat-eye irises. Her ears are slightly more fuller and fluffier than the average miqo’te’s, yet still retains the same angle one would have. Rilhana’s tail follows the same theme, being more dense and longer than most. Rilhana’s stature is on the shorter side for a miqo’te, with a curvaceous hourglass figure that gives her very generous feminine features. She often takes advantage of her rubenesque form, wearing outfits that will accentuate details. Though her attire will vary with climates, Rilhana can’t help herself in showing a bit of skin whenever applicable, living confident in her body. The warmer the climate, the more skin she’ll reveal to revel in the sun’s warmth.

Masatoshi is a very hard strung person, driven by ambition and passion for his home. Working in the upper levels of Hingashi’s government in international affairs, he is often neck and neck with the Mitsurugi family, wanting to some day enlist the Shirohanas as the working governing family. His ambition often clashed with Rilhana’s wanderlust growing up, and his strict regulations to train her to be a heiress gave them a turbulent relationship. Emotionally distant, Rilhana began to keep her father at arm’s length to avoid her own hurt when he’d dismiss her. Upon being caught with Kazuya, one of the Mitsurugi son’s, Masatoshi wasted no time in excommunicating her from the family, claiming that she was no daughter of his.For the following years after, Rilhana harbored a lot of resentment towards her father. The lack of parental affection he gave during her childhood, combined with her exile left her feeling as though he had never truly loved her for who she is. For years, these feelings boiled inside of her, often looking to others for guidance she’d never had prior. When Rilhana finally found it time to confront her family head on after years of being away, a knife hit her heart seeing her father’s guilt consume him upon seeing her again. Sitting down for a long talk full of tears, the two of them started the mend the bridge that had been burned six years prior, paving way for a new relationship for the two of them. Though his sins have not been wholly forgiven by Rilhana, his apology was accepted.Their relationship in present day is more or less awkward, with him attempting to give support when he can and dancing on the edge of an emotional connection. Affection being tough for him, he often relies on monetary favors as a form of endearment to Rilhana, who began to accept this love language over time. Realizing his efforts, her frustrations would water down, yet deep down she still wishes he could’ve been better sooner.

Q’nhaya is the softer of the two parents to Rilhana. She is not Hingan, having instead grown up in Gridania, Eorzea. A prominent mage in the Conjurers’ Guild, she made quite a name for herself with her skills. Wanderlust couldn’t hold her to Eorzea, however. After having ventured to Doma prior to the Garlean invasion, she met Masatoshi while stopping by Kugane’s ports and fell in love. Having been a vagrant herself, she understands her daughter better than her husband does, and often would indulge in her fantasies.Growing up, her bond with her mother was very tightknit. The two of them would talk for hours at a time, reminiscing and discussing ways forward in Rilhana’s future into being a heiress. At a young age, Nhaya would introduce her daughter into the realm of white magic, teaching her how to heal and channel her aether properly. Their relationship took some distance when Rilhana began dating Kazuya, scared to confide in her mother despite her pleas to relieve her daughter’s clear struggle. Despite her hesitance, Nhaya always retained that she would always love Rilhana, regardless of what would come of it.Upon Masatoshi hastily disowning Rilhana, she felt some resentment towards her mother in the fact she didn’t fight too hard in the moment and instead opted to keep the peace. For years Rilhana went with thinking her mother was also quick to discard her, and it wasn’t until she came back to Kugane that she realized how distraught Nhaya was at the loss her only daughter. Through many tears, they confronted their misgivings of each other and began to reform what was once lost. Seeing herself in her daughter, Nhaya gave her the blessing to keep adventuring, but reminded Rilhana that she always has a home in Hingashi.

considering her healing style is a mash of ast / whm, i’d say her lb3 for healing would be a mix between the two. instead of jumping up into the air for the stellar explosion, rilha kneels on the ground, clutching her heart as the elements coalesce around her and reach for the stars, causing the explosion.
her belief in astrology & the stars above would be the grand finale for her lb3, with the elements she learned to harness from her mother building up to it. the lb3 would be incredibly flashy, considering all the elements ( wind, fire, ice, water, earth, & lightning ) would be swirling around her before the starry explosion erupts from her core.
i think the only case rilha would ever use an lb3 would be in the circumstance of losing someone extremely close to her. since lb3’s are kinda lore breaking with the intent of revival, it wouldn’t be something rilha could control or use normally. i’d imagine a scenario where she lost a loved one would cause her to use it as a final attempt to bring them back.

scents and perfume

i’ve always imagined rilha to either wear a lot of vanilla or sandalwood, which honestly still could work. but lately i’ve been riding the waves ( haha ) of more summery / beachy scents. totally not because summer is upon us or anything.but considering rilha grew up in kugane, which is a port town, the salty air and sea breezes would be quite common to her, and i’d imagine she’d give off the scent of a beach naturally whenever she’s been near kugane.as for if perfume actually exists in etheirys ( i think it does ?? not sure but for the sake of pretending we’ll say it does ) rilha would wear a variety of scents. sometimes flowery, or her signature vanilla / sandalwood, but sometimes she’d mix it up and have more heavy scents. it all depends on the season and how she’s feeling !!

outfit dump for scion verse

— a realm reborn.
coming from kugane, rilha is very used to wearing clothing that shows some skin due to the heat. though the temperate is moderate in gridania, her attire has an open midriff. if not for her mother being an esteemed white mage, the conjurer’s guild would have made her dress more appropriate long ago. ( not to say they haven’t tried in the past, that is. )
her hair is a decent length with messy bangs. while on the journey to gridania, she had cut it short, mostly out of rebellion. over the next coming years, it goes past her shoulders.— heavensward.
seeking shelter in coerthas brings rilha to change her outfit. the cold is harsh in ishgard, and during her time on the backlines of the dragonsong war, she learns to adapt to the winds and snow. despite this, she still finds a way to show her thighs a bit with some absolute territory. the leggings and shorts she wears are fleece lined to combat the wind that hits the absolute territory.
while in the war, her hair gets longer and messier. she has little time to take care of her hair when aiding in the war effort, but hydaelyn does she try. her hair reaches her lower back at this point.— stormblood.
as much as rilha came to find shelter in ishgard, she is relieved when her duties begin to take her elsewhere. her attire shifts to be more free flowing, taking a chance on adorning pink for a change instead of monochromes. the flowy outfit keeps her safe from the dry heat of ala mhigo and the humidity of the far east.
aiding in one war effort quickly leads her to the next. before arriving in ala mhigo, rilha cuts her hair shorter than she had previously. not just as a way to have it out of the way when healing and carrying out duties, but also as a way to take ownership of herself.
this expansion forces her to confront her past, and come to accept who she is. she embraces her feminine side more, but also works on taking control of who she is and what she wants.— shadowbringers.
upon settling into the crystarium, rilha returns to her revealing outfits, whilst still trying to accommodate for all the climates present in norvrandt. the skin she shows is tasteful, the tail ends of her gown covering what needs to be covered. her confidence shines through in her attire, and it’s that confidence that helps aid her in infiltrating eulmore.
though she lives in norvrandt for four years, she keeps her hair length at her shoulders, not letting the length go past her chest. it is the most upkeep she gives her hair since starting her journey, partially because tracking the time to cut her hair grounds her. it helps her keep note of how long it’s been since she arrived to the first. it isn’t until she reunites with the warrior of light that she allows her hair to grow once more.— endwalker.
levels 80 - 81.
rilha’s attire is more fitting for a mage, with some edge to it. she adorns a bright lily in her hair, with tasteful skin being shown throughout her fit. it’s a very adaptive fit, to compensate for the climates of various regions she explores in this arc.
her hair has grown longer since being in the first, enough to be able to tie it up. feeling the long hair, she opts to pull it up when working as a healer. her messy bangs stay prominent.levels 82 - 84.
while in garlemald, her heavensward attire makes a return due to the harsh cold. her hair stays consistent, tied up to make working easier for her. her bright lily is gone for this arc, due to the cold winds.levels 85 - 87.
being stationed in radz-at-han for the final days, her attire changes to accommodate for the blistering humid heat. having been given clothes from the locals, she matches a top with some older thigh boots she’s possessed and some shorts. on the back of her head is a white bow, an attempt at keeping her free flowing hair in check.
due to the chaos of this time period, she forgoes tying her hair up every day, instead letting it flow freely. her bangs slightly part, due to her continuously running her hand through them to get them out of her face whilst trying to help those in need.levels 88 - 90.
as the warrior of light returns from elpis, rilha goes back to her previous attire to continue the quest of stopping the final days. her bright lily makes a return in her hair.
this time, she opts to let her hair flow freely once more, her hair gaining some volume and fluff from the intense travel across the universe.
